Scholarly Identity

Building and improving the accuracy of a researcher’s scholarly identity is an important step in increasing a researcher’s impact. We can assist with citation management and academic identities in several ways:

  • ORCiD: A complete and accurate ORCiD record facilitates grant writing and disambiguates one researcher from another. LSU Libraries can connect researcher ORCiDs to article databases and import records for faculty.
  • Web of Science: The Libraries can ensure that LSU researchers’ profiles in Web of Science are accurate and that researchers’ H-indexes and citations accurately reflect their scholarly work.
  • Google Scholar: The Libraries can audit public Google Scholar profiles for accuracy and assist with remediation.
  • NCBI: The Libraries can help you populate your NCBI bibliography and connect it to your ORCiD profile
  • Scopus: The Libraries can connect a researcher’s ORCiD profile to their Scopus author profile.
  • Author profile audit service: The Libraries can review the author profiles of LSU and AgCenter faculty.
