Lost Materials

If the library has not already billed you for the item, and if you know the material is lost forever, you may report the book lost. Charges for books reported lost are:

1. Overdue fines up to the day the book is reported lost - $0 to $20.00
2. Service charge - $25.00
3. Actual replacement cost of book if still in print or, if book is out of print, the default cost is $70.00

If book has been stolen, the service charge will be waived if you submit a police report. The replacement cost of the book MAY be refunded if the material that has been reported lost is returned to the library.
